Job description
About the Role
We represent a well-established enterprise technology solutions provider with over 25 years of industry presence and strong alliances with Microsoft, Citrix, and other leading technology platforms. They are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to join their expanding sales team, focusing on acquiring new enterprise clients across Ireland and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
This role entails managing the complete sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification and engaging with senior IT and C-level stakeholders to proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure. Support is provided by a dynamic team including Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), marketing, and technical pre-sales specialists. However, generating your own sales pipeline through outbound efforts, networking, and interpreting buying signals is expected. The sales portfolio covers Microsoft, Citrix, End User Computing (EUC), cloud, and professional services, prioritizing recurring and long-term revenue streams.
Candidate Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B technology sales.
- Demonstrated success selling to enterprise organizations and interacting with senior IT and executive stakeholders.
- Strong hunter mentality with a proven ability to secure new business.
Additional preferred qualifications include experience within IT reselling, partnering, channel sales, or solution providers. Familiarity with Citrix and Microsoft technologies and knowledge of recurring revenues, managed and professional services is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive fixed salary combined with substantial performance-based On-Target Earnings (OTE) up to €150,000.
- Health insurance coverage and pension contributions.
- Car or mileage allowance.
- Provision of laptop and mobile device allowance.
- Free parking facilities.
- Opportunities for industry certification and ongoing professional growth.
- Strong support from SDR, marketing, and technical pre-sales teams.
- A cooperative work environment with potential career development.
