Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (Inbound Sales) will focus on converting quality inbound leads from marketing channels, referral partners, and sales development teams into lasting client partnerships. Acting as the initial key contact, the incumbent will guide prospects in understanding how the company's payment solutions address their business needs, leveraging consultative sales techniques and cross-department collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely response to inbound enquiries within predefined service level agreements.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to accurately assess prospects' goals and requirements.
  • Identify merchant and partner challenges and recommend appropriate products and services, ensuring profitability within established pricing frameworks.
  • Negotiate commercial and contract terms, supported by line management and pricing experts.
  • Consistently meet and strive to exceed key performance indicators, aiming for continual growth.
  • Maintain meticulous CRM records to support reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management activities.
  • Represent the organization at industry trade events as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in inbound, customer-facing roles, preferably within payments and involving online or in-person payment solutions.
  • Track record of achieving targets and a strong focus on results and improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to align products and services to client-specific challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, capable of asking insightful questions to fully understand client needs.
  • Receptive to feedback and committed to ongoing personal and professional growth.
  • Professional and cooperative demeanor in internal and external interactions.
