Role Summary

We seek a Business Development Leader for the EMEA region to inspire and lead a high-performing BDR team, focusing on growth, coaching, and operational excellence. This strategic role involves optimizing both inbound demand generation and outbound pipeline initiatives in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and other key teams. You will leverage data and AI tools to refine sales processes, improve conversion rates, and elevate the team’s performance.

This position is based in Dublin, with in-office presence expected on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays to foster collaboration during our Anchor Days.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing BDR team targeting the DACH market, focusing on territory planning, execution, and career progression within an inclusive and high-standard culture.
• Generate new pipeline proactively through outbound outreach, targeted campaigns, and quick follow-up, aligning closely with Sales and Marketing on priority accounts.
• Enhance discovery and qualification standards to ensure sales-ready leads with defined use cases, stakeholders, and next steps.
• Implement a metrics-driven operating rhythm from activity to revenue impact to detect inefficiencies and consistently meet SLAs and KPIs.
• Integrate AI and automation into workflows like research, personalization, call documentation, and follow-ups to boost team capacity and quality without compromising rigor.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Enablement to refine messaging, strategies, and processes ensuring regional consistency.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, coaching, and performance management to cultivate a strong and promotable sales team bench.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to leverage data for performance optimization and continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership aptitude in mentoring and developing sales professionals inclusively and supportively.
• Extensive experience in SaaS sales, including outbound prospecting and closing, with a consistent track record of meeting targets in competitive settings.
• Adaptability and resilience to thrive in fast-changing environments with a problem-solving attitude.
• A passion for sales, technology, and AI, coupled with an energetic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative disposition.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in German.

Compensation and Additional Information

Notion offers competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The anticipated total on-target earnings for this role range between €155,000 and €165,000 annually, depending on location, role complexity, and candidate experience.
