Job description
Overview
Join Nexon Asia Pacific as a Business Development Manager focusing on securing new commercial clients in priority sectors such as Financial Services, Professional Services, Not for Profit, and Health & Social Services. This role involves managing the entire sales process from initial engagement to contract closure, selling multi-year per user solutions, and ensuring a seamless handoff to the Client Partner post-sale.
Primary Responsibilities
- Generate 100% net new revenues by meeting an annual Gross Profit target through new logos.
- Proactively build a robust sales pipeline via outbound efforts, referrals, partnerships, and marketing initiatives without relying on inbound leads.
- Conduct rigorous deal qualification applying the MEDDPICC framework to prioritize viable opportunities and eliminate weak ones promptly.
- Position and sell multi-year per user bundled operating models (including Compass, MSP, and Frontiers) to executive-level buyers, focusing on commercial and business value rather than features.
- Maximize product adoption at the point of sale to ensure comprehensive client engagement.
- Drive deals to signed agreements and collaborate closely with the Client Partner to transfer accounts with complete knowledge of commitments, stakeholders, and growth potential.
Success Metrics
- Achievement of annual Gross Profit quota based on multi-year contract values.
- Maintenance of a qualified sales pipeline aligned with targets.
- High win rates on qualified sales opportunities.
- Effective sales cycle management resulting in strong deal velocity.
- Increased products sold per client at the time of sale.
- Consistency and completeness in implementing MEDDPICC methodology across active deals.
Required Capabilities and Experience
- Demonstrated success in end-to-end new logo sales within commercial accounts, preferably in Financial Services, Professional Services, NFP, or Health & Social Services sectors.
- Ability to engage confidently with CxO-level executives, framing proposals around commercial and business cases.
- Experience using a structured deal qualification approach like MEDDPICC.
- Comfort with selling multi-year, consumption-based, or per user pricing models.
- Disciplined and proactive in generating sales pipeline independently.
