About the Role
This role focuses on acquiring new customers as part of LexisNexis Risk Solutions' expansion in the Middle East region. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating revenue by prospecting within designated geographic markets including Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Collaboration with the regional sales team and travel to support clients and attend sector events are essential aspects of the job.
Responsibilities
- Target and engage potential B2B clients in the Saudi Arabian and Egyptian markets.
- Implement outbound strategies like cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and participation in industry events.
- Handle and convert inbound sales leads for the designated territories effectively.
- Conduct consultative sales activities including demos, presentations, and tender responses.
- Articulate clearly the product portfolio's value propositions and practical use cases.
- Negotiate and complete sales agreements.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, compliance updates, competitors, and product enhancements.
- Maintain an active and accurate sales pipeline.
- Document client communications, pipeline status, and forecasts precisely via Salesforce CRM.
- Utilize productivity tools such as Salesforce, Lusha, and Gong to boost sales effectiveness.
Requirements
- Command of both English and Arabic languages is mandatory.
- Proven track record in B2B business development.
- At least 3 years’ experience in SaaS sales focused on the GCC region, specifically Saudi Arabia.
- Knowledge of sales frameworks such as MEDDPICC or equivalent methodologies.
- University degree preferred; advanced or technical degrees are advantageous.
