Business Development Associate

Position Overview

Corpay seeks a driven Business Development Associate to join its dynamic sales team focused on expanding new business within the financial technology industry. This role provides exposure to a competitive corporate sales environment in the FinTech sector, requiring strategic targeting of potential clients through lead follow-up, leveraging existing contacts, and proactive outreach to new companies. Success will be measured by monthly sales plans and consistent achievement of assigned targets, with adjustments made as needed.

Work Environment

As part of Corpay's Perth office team, the successful candidate will receive an assigned workspace, company-provided equipment, and structured hands-on training to ensure strong onboarding and growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently meet monthly sales goals by identifying and qualifying business prospects.
• Arrange appointments for prospects to engage with Corpay's National Account Managers via online or in-person meetings.
• Follow the established sales processes to develop skills and advance within the company.
• Maintain engagement with prospects not immediately ready to convert through regular communications, including calls and targeted marketing updates.
• Accurately update all client interactions and progress within Salesforce CRM.
• Generate and source new business leads.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven B2B sales capabilities with effective selling techniques.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experienced in cold calling methods to secure appointments and build lasting customer relationships.
• Track record of closing sales successfully while delivering excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated motivation to achieve and exceed set monthly targets.
• Willingness to learn and adhere to the company's sales process for professional growth.
