Business Development Associate

About the Role

Corpay seeks a Business Development Associate to join the cross-border payments division at our Moorgate, London office, reporting to the Director of Sales. The role focuses on engaging with C-suite executives from medium to large enterprises to support their foreign exchange (FX) and international payment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research and qualify prospective clients to develop a leads database.
• Utilize phone communications, primarily cold calling, to connect and consult with senior executives across various industries.
• Understand client business operations deeply to identify challenges and present Alpha Group’s solutions as effective remedies.
• Collaborate with analysts and strategists to formulate and showcase risk management proposals, gradually gaining the expertise to independently develop these solutions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Between one and three years of experience in sales, specifically in outbound or new business development roles.
• Proven ability and comfort with cold calling.
• Prior experience in fintech is advantageous, though no specific FX or payment background is mandatory.
• Strong verbal communication and a driven, urgent approach to tasks.
