Job description

Overview

The Business and Events Concierge serves as the primary contact for both new and existing business and event clients interacting with Central Coast Council. This position functions as the main intermediary between businesses, event planners, and Council departments, ensuring a coordinated and client-centered service experience.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves navigating complex regulatory processes, facilitating the provision of Council services, and directing customers to proper internal teams. The goal is to streamline complicated procedures, nurture positive relationships, and deliver a smooth customer journey that supports business expansion and event organization in the Central Coast region.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a diploma-level qualification in Customer Service, Management, or Business, or exhibit substantial relevant experience with ongoing professional learning.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks applicable to business and customer inquiries.
  • Capability to identify challenges, analyze data, and devise practical, customer-centric solutions delivering favorable results.
  • Proven skill in managing multiple queries, balancing competing priorities, and meeting customer expectations while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong ability to build credible relationships and effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels and externally.

Employment Details and Benefits

  • Starting salary up to $83,200 per year, with potential advancement to $96,400 subject to skill and performance assessments, plus 12% superannuation.
  • Temporary full-time position with 9-day fortnight access.
  • Flexible and hybrid work arrangements available, including two work-from-home days and three onsite days each week.
  • Work location is at the Wyong Administration Building.
