Business Analyst - Temenos T24 Access Control & Parameterization

Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Business Analyst with specialised expertise in Temenos T24/Transact platform to drive core banking transformation initiatives. The role demands deep practical experience in T24 security configurations, role-based access controls, segregation of duties, MakerChecker setups, and management of Access Control Matrices. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, governance and security teams, technical personnel, and implementation partners ensuring compliant and secure access across T24 environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead access control and security configuration activities within Temenos T24 transformation projects.
• Establish and operationalize Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) frameworks, including defining user roles, personas, profiles, and permissions.
• Implement segregation of duties (SoD) and MakerChecker controls ensuring alignment to risk, audit, and compliance standards.
• Maintain and manage the Access Control Matrix (ACM), mapping business roles to system permissions and identifying conflicts or SoD violations.
• Perform detailed T24 parameterization and configuration across development, SIT, UAT, and production environments ensuring synchronization and consistency.
• Gather, analyse, and document access-control requirements including preparation of BRDs, FSDs, and process workflows; conduct workshops with business and operations teams.
• Develop and validate test scenarios and cases for access control configurations supporting SIT and UAT testing phases.
• Coordinate defect management activities including triage and resolution with technical and implementation teams.
• Support migration of legacy user profiles into T24, ensuring alignment with the new access control framework and validating the migration outcomes.
• Ensure all configuration changes follow governance frameworks, maintain version control, and support audit and compliance reviews.
• Engage continuously with business users, security, risk & compliance teams, implementation partners, vendors, and project managers to facilitate workshops, status reporting, and knowledge transfer.

Candidate Profile

• 7 to 10 years of experience working on Temenos core banking transformation programs with strong exposure as a Business Analyst or T24 Subject Matter Expert.
• Proven hands-on experience configuring Temenos T24/Transact security parameters and access controls.
• Demonstrable history of managing RBAC, MakerChecker, Segregation of Duties, Access Control Matrix, and permissions management.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT testing, defect handling, and production release management within T24 projects.
• Background in legacy user profile migrations and configuration governance.
• Client-facing consulting skills are advantageous.

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or other related disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Temenos certification preferred.
• Experience with multiple T24/Transact releases including R0 through R3.
• Background in large-scale banking transformation programs, particularly within retail and corporate banking.
• Prior experience working in Middle East/GCC banking sectors is highly desirable.
• Exposure to multi-vendor implementation environments.
• Strong understanding of banking security, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
