Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with a broad technical background to lead the development of advanced data visualizations and automation tools that enhance decision-making processes and drive efficiency improvements. The candidate will apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities alongside a passion for deriving business insights. The role entails more than basic data manipulation; it involves creating automated data pipelines, sophisticated analytical models, and engaging visual dashboards. The analyst will maintain front-end codebases with languages like Python, SQL, HTML, Java, and R. Although prior expertise in all these languages is not mandatory, the candidate should demonstrate an eagerness and capacity to quickly acquire proficiency.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage data processes including raw data extraction, query and macro creation, VBA programming, data organization, and report design to provide clear business performance visuals.
• Extract and analyze extensive datasets using tools such as Excel, SQL, and other data management platforms.
• Design and deploy reporting systems that empower stakeholders with timely and effective decision-making information.
• Ensure accuracy and punctuality of reports through dedicated ownership and rapid resolution of data inconsistencies focused on customer satisfaction.
• Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and benchmark reporting accuracy and process efficiency.
• Monitor current metrics, invent new performance measures, and collaborate with teams to explore process and system optimizations.
• Support cross-functional teams in the execution of existing program initiatives on a day-to-day basis.
• Create advanced queries to perform in-depth analyses of process-related challenges.
• Drive innovation initiatives to enhance customer experiences.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of three years experience in constructing SQL queries and generating business intelligence reports with Tableau or Power BI.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to define requirements and utilize data and metrics for generating business insights.
• Proficient in Excel and SQL.
• Experience influencing business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
• Working knowledge of AWS and Python is a highly advantageous asset.
