Bus Driver

About the Role

DrivenBus is launching a new buspooling project in Dubai, licensed by RTA and utilizing smart app technology. We are hiring 12 professional Bus Drivers experienced with operating both light and heavy buses under a valid UAE driving license. The primary objective is to transport staff/passengers safely and punctually while adhering rigorously to UAE traffic laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned light and heavy buses professionally on scheduled routes and respond to special operational needs.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections; report any defects or incidents immediately.
• Strictly follow prescribed routes, timetables, and operational directions communicated via a mobile app, including timely reporting of delays or safety concerns.
• Ensure safe boarding and alighting of passengers at all times.
• Accurately maintain all necessary documentation such as logs, reports, and timesheets.
• Take part in regular safety briefings, training programs, and emergency response drills.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle to company standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Possession of a valid UAE driving license covering Light Bus and/or Heavy Bus categories (mandatory).
• A minimum of 1 to 3 years driving experience within the UAE, preferably in bus or staff transportation.
• Applicant must be at least 25 years old.
• Comprehensive understanding of UAE traffic regulations, road safety, and defensive driving techniques.
• Good communication abilities combined with a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of managing workload under operational pressure.
