Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Chef to join a bustling bulk production kitchen located in Kapiti, Wellington. This role offers an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals who thrive in high-volume cooking environments and enjoy working collaboratively within a dedicated kitchen team to prepare consistently excellent meals.
Job Details
- Hourly wage of $34 plus 8% holiday pay
- Working hours from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Two days off each week
- Weekend shifts are part of the rotating roster
- Ongoing employment opportunities available
- Engagement in a substantial bulk food production kitchen
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Chef
- Demonstrated capability in bulk production or high-volume kitchen operations
- Experience in a hotel kitchen setting is an added advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of performing well under pressure
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Dependable, professional, and committed to teamwork
