Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Cleaner to join our team at one of our apartment properties located in St. Catharines, Ontario. This role involves maintaining cleanliness throughout the building’s common and amenity areas, with a work schedule typically spanning four days a week, including every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of common spaces such as lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and windows, along with amenity areas including laundry and social rooms through sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Conduct comprehensive cleaning of vacant suites, which includes appliances, walls, windows, kitchens, washrooms, and balconies.
• Take on exterior cleaning tasks such as maintaining the underground garage, parking areas, service rooms, foyers, patios, and rooftops (varies depending on property), and collecting loose garbage around the property.
• Report significant issues affecting curb appeal, safety, or hazards directly to the Resident Manager.
• Adapt to a flexible work schedule that includes weekends.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and follow directives.
• Execute other duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of relevant cleaning or maintenance experience
• Strong customer service skills and demeanor
• Ability to lift and push heavy objects including furniture, garbage bins, and appliances
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Capable of functioning well within a team-oriented environment
