Bricklayer Helper

Job Overview

This role requires a bricklayer helper to work on various construction sites. Candidates must have 3 to under 5 years of experience and be fluent in English. All work is conducted on-site; remote work is not an option.

Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport building materials
• Construct and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
• Mix, pour, and spread materials like concrete and asphalt
• Level earth surfaces to meet precise grading requirements
• Clean and stack salvaged materials for reuse
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks
• Remove rubble and debris from work areas
• Feed and tend to construction machinery or equipment
• Prepare and organize work materials and supplies

Required Credentials and Training

• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) certification
• Fall Arrest Protection Training
• Training for working safely at heights

Experience and Equipment Knowledge

• Operation of reciprocating, circular, and concrete saws
• Proficiency with mortar and concrete mixers
• Experience with grinding and grouting machines
• Use of jackhammers and drills

Construction Domain

Specialized in residential construction projects.
