Main Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of below-the-hook lifting gear, rigging tools, and fall protection equipment ensuring compliance with stringent safety standards.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and submit these daily or upon job completion as required.
• Maintain detailed records of inspected inventory for billing, certification, and regulatory compliance.
• Perform regular upkeep on company equipment according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules.
• Assist other departments including rigging and warehouse teams, promoting a collaborative work environment.
• Travel to client sites to deliver inspection services in the field as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior inspection background needed due to full training provided.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, from floor to waist level safely.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Willingness to undergo criminal background check, driver’s abstract review, and reference checks as part of employment conditions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly wage between $22 and $24, based on experience.
• Registered Pension Plan with a 5% employer contribution after one year.

• Reliable schedule Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
