Position Overview

The Address Collective is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Chef to become a part of our Kitchen Team located in Sligo, County Sligo, Ireland. The successful candidate will be accountable for the preparation, cooking, and service of breakfast items, ensuring top quality and strict adherence to food hygiene standards according to HACCP regulations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast dishes to order, guaranteeing they meet the predefined quality standards before service.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas at all times, complying with HACCP rules and guidelines.
  • Manage ordering responsibilities as needed to ensure kitchen stock is sufficient and timely.
  • Oversee the receipt of deliveries and properly handle incoming stock.

Candidate Requirements and Skills

  • Possess at least two years of professional experience working in a hotel or restaurant kitchen environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform effectively under the pressure of a busy kitchen setting.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of HACCP food hygiene standards.
  • Proficient in food preparation, production, menu planning, and ordering processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and customer-focused approach.
