Overview
As a Brand Manager within Amazon's Small and Medium Business (SBS) team, you will play a crucial role focusing on five major aspects: enhancing product selection, driving demand, maintaining catalogue integrity, providing business insights, and ensuring product availability. This leadership position requires a dedication to customer service, a demonstrated ability to build strong brand partnerships, and familiarity with product lifecycle planning and online sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and address gaps in product selection, ensuring offline catalogues align with Amazon's online offerings.
- Collaborate with category management to develop a marketing calendar aligned with vendor goals to stimulate demand generation.
- Provide strategic business advice to support brand participation in Amazon programs.
- Maintain uninterrupted product availability on the platform.
- Ensure high-quality product listings by managing images, descriptions, and overall catalogue accuracy on Amazon.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in account management, project/program management, or retail buying.
- Minimum 2 years' background in market research analysis, product management, or similar roles.
- Experience with quantitative or financial analysis, retail planning and allocation, pricing, marketing, or e-commerce for a minimum of 2 years.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead strategic initiatives across teams.
- Background in Retail, FMCG, or roles involving sales, negotiation, or client/vendor interactions.
- Track record of managing end-to-end business performance and influencing senior stakeholders.
Preferred Experience
- Over 3 years in management consulting, investment banking, or brand management at prominent consumer packaged goods companies.
- Expertise in financial analysis, retail buying and planning, product/project management, marketing, business development, consulting, negotiation, or supply chain management.
