Overview

The Branch Manager at Muthoot Fincorp Limited holds comprehensive responsibility for operational governance, business growth, performance monitoring, customer relations, stakeholder management, team leadership, and compliance at the Coimbatore branch. This role involves coordinating branch objectives, optimizing performance, expanding market presence, and ensuring full adherence to regulatory and company policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicate branch targets for the product portfolio and set daily performance plans to achieve profitability goals.
• Drive branch revenue growth by increasing gold loan ticket sizes and promoting third-party financial products.
• Conduct local market research to identify sales and expansion prospects in line with business objectives.
• Monitor sales performance against budgets while compiling and distributing operational reports regularly.
• Ensure timely collection of interest and management of overdue accounts, sustaining asset quality at the branch.
• Oversee daily branch operations, resource allocation, and security measures for vault and gold lockers.
• Validate customer documentation and KYC compliance, and authorize gold loan applications.
• Manage procedural and legal aspects related to auctions, returns, and formal notices concerning gold assets.
• Plan and execute marketing and branding activities to reinforce branch visibility and customer engagement.
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing and prospective customers, especially high-value clients.
• Expand customer awareness regarding the comprehensive product range offered by the company.
• Participate in branch scorecard reviews with Area Managers to evaluate performance, address challenges, and strategize improvements.
• Assess team achievements and provide coaching to enhance individual and group productivity.
• Address customer complaints and escalations promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products.
• Manage relationships with landlords and coordinate rental negotiations and agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service, collections, and sales to drive branch success and operational efficiency.
• Liaise with external entities such as police and legal representatives to resolve customer-related and statutory issues.
• Conduct team goal-setting, facilitate training programs, and nurture a culture of excellence and continuous development among branch staff.
• Participate in recruitment efforts to select suitable candidates for branch roles.
• Ensure compliance with organizational vision, regulatory requirements, record-keeping, and swift reporting of incidents and frauds through internal management systems.

Additional Information

Salary offered ranges from ₹35,000 to ₹50,000 per month. The role is based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and requires onsite presence. Muthoot Fincorp expects the branch manager to uphold stringent governance practices while contributing to the branch’s financial growth and customer satisfaction.
