About the Role

Taiba Consulting Company is launching its new branch in Jeddah and is seeking a seasoned Branch Manager to spearhead its growth. The role focuses chiefly on client acquisition and business development in Jeddah, while receiving technical, staffing, and administrative support from the head office.

Initially, the Branch Manager will handle comprehensive operational duties encompassing commercial, technical, and administrative aspects due to the branch's startup nature. As the office and team grow, responsibilities will become more specialized. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial skills, deep knowledge of the Jeddah market, and adaptability to thrive in a developing branch environment. Compensation includes a component tied to branch performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand the client portfolio in Jeddah among government entities, developers, contractors, and private sector clients.
• Establish and nurture business relationships representing the company.
• Proactively identify new business opportunities and convert them into confirmed projects.
• Track tenders and coordinate submission processes with the head office.
• Prepare prequalification documents, proposals, and client presentations and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Manage branch communications, client registrations, and portal submissions efficiently.
• Supervise branch operations, oversee project execution, and lead branch personnel.
• Ensure timely invoicing and collection from clients.
• Perform project-related and administrative tasks directly when necessary, especially in the early stages of the branch.
• Report progress on business pipeline, branch performance, and forecasts to the head office.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Proven background in business development, client engagement, or management roles within engineering consultancy.
• Hands-on experience working in Jeddah and a thorough understanding of the local market dynamics.
• Strong track record of building client relationships and winning new business.
• Ability to manage a variety of functions in a small, expanding office setting.
• Self-motivated, capable of working with autonomy while maintaining reporting lines to headquarters.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages.
