Role Overview
We are seeking a Branch Associate based in Onehunga, Auckland. This full-time position requires onsite presence Monday through Friday, working from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal candidate will be dependable, flexible, and motivated to work autonomously, often as the sole individual on site. This role encompasses managing day-to-day branch administration and operations while delivering outstanding customer service to clients across the country.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer queries through phone, email, website, and showroom channels.
- Provide courteous, professional, and solution-oriented customer service and support.
- Handle order processing and follow up on enquiries and backorders with accuracy.
- Maintain professional relationships and communications with customers and suppliers.
- Manage sales order processing and upkeep of precise customer data records.
- Update and maintain CRM and other business information systems.
- Process credit applications and administrative paperwork efficiently.
- Prepare quotes and necessary supporting documentation.
- Facilitate customer onboarding and provide training on system and web-store use.
- Offer assistance to sales teams with customer service tasks and administration duties.
- Contribute to preparing proposals and booking arrangements supporting sales objectives.
- Deliver operational help including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
- Support showroom presentations and occasionally assist with warehouse tasks.
- Assist with garment branding and other added-value services as needed.
- Provide comprehensive general operational support to ensure smooth branch functioning.
Candidate Profile
- Experience demonstrated in customer service, coordination, logistics, or related roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication combined with strong customer service abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to accuracy.
- High level of dependability, professionalism, and accountability.
- Ability to self-prioritise tasks and maintain smooth branch operations.
- Positive and proactive attitude with a customer-focused approach.
- Capable of working independently and cooperatively within a team.
- Comfortable managing a diverse role spanning customer service, admin, and operational responsibilities.
- Open to learning, skill development, and assuming additional responsibilities.
- Preferred experience includes warehouse, distribution, PPE, workwear, industrial supplies sectors, and financial administration knowledge such as data reconciliation and verification.
