Body Shop Advisor

About the Role

Kataria Group in Sarkhej, Ahmedabad is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Body Shop Advisor with at least two years of experience in automotive body shop or service advising. This role involves managing strong customer relationships, facilitating insurance claims, and coordinating workflow between customers and technicians to ensure smooth repair operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for customers, welcoming them, understanding vehicle damage concerns, and communicating repair processes and cost estimates clearly.
• Handle insurance matters, including liaising with insurance surveyors, processing cashless claims, and preparing precise repair estimates.
• Coordinate with technicians and workshop staff to monitor repair stages, maintain quality control, and ensure vehicles are delivered punctually.
• Maintain accurate records such as job cards, billing, and service documentation using company systems.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• At least two years of practical experience as a Body Shop or Service Advisor in an automobile dealership or workshop.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Solid knowledge of automobile body repairs, painting techniques, and insurance claim protocols.
• Educational background of Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering is preferred.
