Blockchain Developer | Web3 Solutions Specialist

Overview

We are looking for a Blockchain Developer and Web3 Solutions Specialist with strong technical expertise to design, develop, and manage blockchain-based and decentralized applications. This role joins cross-functional teams including product, engineering, security, and business groups to develop scalable, secure Web3 solutions and assess new blockchain technologies for business relevance.

Key Responsibilities

• Create blockchain applications, platforms, and decentralized systems tailored to organizational needs.
• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain smart contracts on appropriate blockchain networks.
• Build decentralized applications (dApps) and deliver Web3-powered services.
• Design secure blockchain architectures aligning with both technical and business requirements.
• Integrate blockchain networks with corporate systems, APIs, databases, and digital platforms.
• Develop and sustain Web3 APIs, backend services, and integration layers for blockchain solutions.
• Manage wallets, token standards, blockchain nodes, and decentralized protocols.
• Author smart contracts using Solidity or comparable blockchain programming languages.
• Perform testing, debugging, optimization, and deployment of smart contracts.
• Analyze gas use, transaction efficiency, scalability, and operational costs.
• Establish security measures protecting smart contracts, wallets, blockchain infrastructure, and applications.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to identify and address blockchain-centric security threats.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in vulnerability assessments for blockchain software.
• Create automated test suites for smart contracts, APIs, and blockchain integrations.
• Monitor blockchain app performance, transaction activity, and system operational health.
• Diagnose and resolve transaction errors, smart contract bugs, integration failures, and performance issues.
• Support deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of blockchain nodes if needed.
• Evaluate Layer 1 & Layer 2 blockchains, sidechains, and innovative blockchain technologies for applicable use cases.
• Research emerging Web3 protocols, decentralized tech, tokenization strategies, and blockchain development frameworks.
• Assess blockchain solutions for scalability, security, cost-effectiveness, interoperability, and business value delivery.
• Translate business and product requirements into effective Web3 solutions by working with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to design and implementation of tokenized products, decentralized services, digital assets, or blockchain workflows when relevant.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation covering architecture, smart contracts, APIs, deployment, and operations.
• Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions with peers.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to foster reliable blockchain development and deployment setups.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines tailored for smart contracts and blockchain applications.
• Support integration with Web3 wallets, identity platforms, payment systems, and external blockchain services.
• Analyze blockchain data and transactional patterns to inform product and operational decisions.
• Ensure blockchain solutions conform to development standards, security policies, privacy mandates, and governance protocols.
• Drive continuous enhancements in application performance, scalability, security posture, maintainability, and user experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Blockchain Technology, or a related discipline.
• Prior hands-on experience in blockchain development, Web3 engineering, smart contract programming, or similar technical positions.
• Deep comprehension of blockchain architectures, distributed ledgers, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized apps.
• Proficiency in developing smart contracts using Solidity or equivalent blockchain languages.
• Exposure to Ethereum or other relevant blockchain ecosystems.
• Good knowledge of Web3 technologies including wallets, token standards, decentralized protocols, and blockchain transactions.
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs, Web3 APIs, and backend services.
• Programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, Rust, or other pertinent languages.
• Familiarity with blockchain development frameworks such as Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle, ethers.js, and web3.js.
• Understanding of token standards like ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 or similar.
• Experience in debugging, testing, deploying, and optimizing smart contracts.
• Sound knowledge of cryptographic principles, digital signatures, hashing, and key management.
• Aware of blockchain security vulnerabilities and secure coding best practices.
• Awareness of common smart contract vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, access control flaws, and transaction ordering risks.
• Experience with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software development workflows.
• Bonus: knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, blockchain node operations, databases, data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration.
• Ability to effectively engage with developers, architects, product managers, cyber security experts, and business partners.
• Attention to detail focusing on security, code quality, scalability, and reliability.
• Preferable experience with DeFi, tokenization, NFTs, DAOs, digital assets, or other Web3 domains.
