Job Responsibilities

• Deliver technical support and training to facility personnel regarding the upkeep and operation of medical equipment.
• Implement a monthly preventive maintenance schedule effectively.
• Conduct training sessions for staff focusing on equipment maintenance and optimal use.
• Manage renewal processes for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC) related to medical devices.
• Collaborate with the Medical Gas Section to ensure continuous gas supply across wards, ICUs, operating theaters, and other departments.
• Handle requisition preparation and oversee inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Offer critical analysis and advice to aid decision-making concerning the procurement of medical equipment.
• Assess new equipment based on technical specifications for suitability and performance.
• Maintain detailed records, including medical equipment history cards and preventive maintenance schedules.

Eligibility

Applicants must possess a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Biomedical Engineering.
