Role Overview
The BIM Modeler position is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Riyadh. Key responsibilities involve the creation and upkeep of detailed BIM models spanning architectural, structural, and MEP components, working closely alongside project teams. Daily activities include transforming design ideas and construction drawings into accurate 3D models, updating models per design revisions, and ensuring alignment with project standards. The modeler will coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address coordination challenges, facilitate clash detection, and generate documentation and reports based on the models. Additionally, the role requires organizing project files, adhering to established workflows, and actively participating in BIM process enhancements.
Candidate Profile
- Proficient in Building Information Modeling with hands-on experience as a Modeler in design or construction settings.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and the ability to convert design intents into coordinated BIM models.
- Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) modeling and ability to coordinate within multidisciplinary projects.
- Able to interpret, understand, and produce precise Construction Drawings following project protocols and standards.
- Skilled in BIM authoring platforms (e.g., Revit or comparable software) and knowledgeable about standard CAD tools.
- Holds a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the capability to collaborate effectively within an on-site project team.
- Communicates well in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
- Experience with Riyadh or regional construction projects is advantageous.
