BIM Lead (MEP)

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Lead specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines with over five years of experience. This senior-level role involves hands-on BIM management and leadership within a growing MEP engineering consultancy based in Dublin. The candidate will take full responsibility for BIM deliverables and the advancement of digital engineering standards across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee BIM delivery and coordination for mechanical and electrical systems across various projects.
• Manage and synchronize MEP Revit models within interdisciplinary projects.
• Lead clash detection processes and coordination efforts using Revit and Navisworks.
• Create and update company Revit templates, libraries, standards, and workflows.
• Identify and implement enhancements to BIM workflows, quality assurance, and project delivery through automation, digital technologies, and AI integration.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years relevant BIM experience in MEP or building services sectors.
• Strong practical expertise with Autodesk Revit MEP software.
• Demonstrated capability in delivering and coordinating MEP models within multidisciplinary contexts.
• Proficient in Navisworks and AutoCAD applications.
• Good understanding of BIM information management and ISO 19650 standards.
• Previous roles such as Senior BIM Technician, BIM Coordinator, MEP BIM Coordinator, or BIM Lead are essential.
