BIM Engineer

About the Company

Outdoor Factory MEA is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer with strong skills in BIM modeling and shop-drawing preparation to join our team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview

The selected BIM Engineer will be responsible for the comprehensive internal creation of precise BIM models and detailed shop-drawings utilizing Revit BIM software. This role requires close collaboration with project design consultants and subcontractors to ensure all outputs meet the as-built IFC drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed BIM models aligned with LOD400 and LOD500 standards.
• Create comprehensive, project-compliant shop-drawings.
• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and construction professionals for accurate and effective drawing production.
• Ensure shop-drawings adhere strictly to project requirements, specifications, and applicable local building codes.
• Manage discipline coordination, perform clash detection, and resolve conflicts in BIM models.
• Efficiently set up Revit projects and manage worksets/models per company protocols.
• Keep abreast with the latest BIM technological advancements and software enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in architectural projects.

Required Skills

• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience working with BIM360 platform.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Prior involvement in architectural projects within the MEA region.
