BIM Coordinator (m/f/d)

About the Role

At Carpus+Partner AG, we are dedicated to developing buildings that enhance knowledge for a hopeful future. To strengthen our Lab+Process division, we seek a BIM Coordinator (m/f/d) to join either our headquarters in Aachen or our Cologne office as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate all specialist models including architecture, structural, and technical building equipment (TGA) into a consistent overall model; conduct clash detection, completeness checks, and verify compliance with standards.
• Develop and maintain project-specific BIM execution plans (BAP) based on client information requirements (AIA); manage the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Lead and document regular BIM coordination meetings; act as central contact for specialists, clients, and contractors.
• Ensure agreed Level of Information Need (LOIN) compliance according to service phases and contribute to advancing office-wide BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Provide support and training to colleagues in BIM methodology.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in architecture, civil engineering, technical building services, or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in BIM coordination, preferably within a planning or general planning office.
• Experienced designers (m/f/d) with strong background in 3D modeling or CAD/BIM-assisted design are warmly encouraged to apply; structured and targeted development towards BIM coordination will be provided.
• Proficient user skills in Autodesk Revit and/or Graphisoft ArchiCAD, along with experience in clash detection tools such as Navisworks, Solibri, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with open BIM standards (IFC), experience with Common Data Environments, and knowledge of ISO 19650, VDI 2552, and HOAI service phases.
• Structured and independent working style combined with strong communication and coordination skills.
• German language proficiency at minimum B2 level; English skills are an advantage.
• Certification as BIM Coordinator (e.g., buildingSMART, DIN CERTCO or equivalent) is desirable.
