Job Overview

The role involves producing and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) content and documentation to facilitate BIM-driven project execution. Ensuring the quality of BIM models and adherence to organizational standards is crucial, alongside supporting project dimensions such as 4D simulations and 5D cost evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop BIM content and detailed documents essential for BIM-assisted project delivery.
• Conduct rigorous quality assurance and control on BIM models from modellers and consultants to ensure conformity with company VDC/IDD standards.
• Deliver BIM outputs for various phases including design, documentation, and fabrication.
• Interpret engineering drawings, update consultant RFIs precisely to mirror design intentions.
• Build BIM models incorporating accurate parameters and attributes to enable 4D simulations and 5D cost analysis.
• Spot and communicate discrepancies during design phases to BIM engineers to facilitate timely resolution.
• Collaborate actively and exchange knowledge with team members to uplift project quality.
• Leverage expertise in Civil & Structural (C&S), Architectural, and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) 3D BIM models to support project needs.
• Apply understanding of BIM documentation and shop drawings extracted directly from models.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office for BIM model production and documentation.
• Fundamental experience with Dynamo and Civil3D to enhance BIM modeling capabilities.
• At least 4 years of comprehensive BIM experience, preferably acquired independently within A1 main contractor or consultancy environments.
• Educational credentials: Higher Nitec in Architectural Technology or Structural Engineering, or Diploma/Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering or BIM-related fields.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English to effectively convey design and project details.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous exposure to infrastructure project BIM implementations to cater to specialized applications.
• Experience in crafting 4D and 5D BIM models aimed at simulations and cost management.
