BIM Coordinator

Job Overview

As a BIM Coordinator, you will oversee and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities for Architectural, Civil, and Structural projects. Your role includes conducting clash detection, verifying models, and preparing documentation to support project phases from planning through execution to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with project teams and subcontractors to ensure BIM model development aligns with project specifications.
• Perform clash detection on BIM models and compile comprehensive reports to address conflicts efficiently.
• Prepare BIM models for documentation purposes, constructability reviews, and on-site application to facilitate project progress.
• Review and validate BIM models and their associated drawings for accuracy and adherence to project standards.
• Support BIM and project teams by organizing coordination meetings and quickly troubleshooting BIM-related challenges.
• Manage BIM modeling and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) practices throughout the project lifecycle including design, construction, and as-built stages.
• Update and maintain VDC execution strategies while providing guidance on VDC and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) matters.
• Integrate construction sequencing and scheduling with BIM construction models to optimize workflow.
• Collaborate with consultants to document and promptly update any design modifications.
• Assist in VDC/IDD project initialization, create Revit families tailored to project requirements, and resolve BIM design challenges.
• Coordinate updates for construction and as-built BIM models to maintain current information.
• Participate in technical and progress meetings with consultants and the Housing Development Board (HDB).
• Oversee the appropriate flow of data both internally and externally, ensuring consistent level of detail, modeling content, and quality control standards.
