About the Company
Our client is a reputable and well-established law firm seeking a knowledgeable Billing Coordinator to strengthen their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and process monthly and special client invoices accurately.
- Review and adjust pre-billing records, including handling transfers, write-offs, and billing modifications.
- Collaborate closely with lawyers and legal assistants to ensure billing accuracy and timeliness.
- Address billing inquiries and resolve any discrepancies effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date client and case details within the billing system.
- Track outstanding billing items and initiate timely follow-ups.
- Ensure consistent compliance with billing deadlines and procedures.
- Provide support for additional accounting and administrative tasks as necessary.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience in billing.
- Prior experience within a law firm environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of legal billing methods and standards.
- Proficiency with Clio billing software is mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
Compensation and Work Arrangement
- Salary up to 67000 CAD, based on experience.
- Hybrid work setup requiring four days per week in-office presence.
- Full-time, permanent role within a respected and collaborative law firm.
