Job description

Role Overview

Join the Billing team at a leading global law firm as a Billing Coordinator. This pivotal role supports Partners and Fee Earners by managing the entire billing cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent client service. You will play a critical part in achieving revenue and cash flow targets while handling complex, high-value legal billing matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and approve invoices, manage reconciliations, and resolve billing inquiries promptly.
  • Serve as the primary contact for any billing-related issues, maintaining compliance with firm standards and accuracy of client data.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal Administration and Finance teams to streamline billing processes and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Manage work-in-progress (WIP) reviews, handle write-offs, and generate reports to assist Partners in controlling lock-up and improving efficiency.
  • Support e-billing tasks, handle multi-payer accounts, and coordinate billing complexities across global offices.
  • Assist with service-to-cash procedures by validating matter setup information and ensuring adherence to credit policies.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and support team workload sharing.

Candidate Profile

  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy handling client data.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
  • Effective prioritization skills and adaptability to evolving processes.
  • Prior experience in billing or accounting, preferably within legal or professional services.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Concur, e-billing platforms, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel is advantageous.
