Role Overview
The Bilingual Front Desk Agent position is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra. The primary responsibility is to warmly welcome guests, efficiently conduct check-ins and check-outs, and address inquiries in multiple languages with professionalism and courtesy. The agent will manage reservation processing, update guest details in the system, handle payment transactions, and collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Daily tasks include answering phone calls, replying to emails, resolving guest issues swiftly, and supplying precise information regarding hotel amenities and local points of interest. This role supports maintaining elevated customer service standards and embodies the hotel’s commitment to friendly and genuine hospitality.
Qualifications
- Fluent bilingual skills, especially in French or Spanish or a related language.
- Strong customer service and front desk experience, including guest-facing roles.
- Skilled in phone etiquette and reservation management, capable of handling booking systems and calls efficiently.
- Excellent communication in English and at least one additional language, both spoken and written.
- Comfortable using basic computer tools and hotel property management software, with accurate data entry capability.
- Ability to stay composed under pressure, multitask effectively, and resolve guest concerns politely and promptly.
- Preferably previous experience in hospitality, front office, or customer service environments.
- Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
- Professional demeanor, dependability, and a strong commitment to delivering consistent, quality guest service.
