Role Overview

As a Bid Coordinator based in our Hobart branch, you will be instrumental in facilitating successful project outcomes from inception. Your responsibilities will include managing the preparation of high-quality tender submissions, capability statements, and expressions of interest, helping to ensure SHAPE remains competitively positioned in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and oversee Bid Action Plans to ensure submission requirements are met timely and accurately.
• Maintain and regularly update a centralized database of Bid and Strategy documentation and information.
• Draft and revise executive summaries and other related documents as requested.
• Support the bid lead by conducting client research and providing detailed background analysis.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies throughout the bidding processes.
• Develop innovative opportunities to enhance the customer experience and engagement.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Background in Graphic Design, Communications, or related disciplines.
• Proficient with Adobe InDesign along with advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Capable of juggling multiple responsibilities and meeting deadlines consistently.
• Strong precision and an organised, methodical approach to tasks.
• Collaborative attitude and effective interpersonal skills to foster positive workplace relationships.
• Experience or familiarity with the construction industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
