Role Overview
As a Bid Coordinator at SHAPE's Canberra office, you will be essential in facilitating the success of bids from inception. Your responsibilities will include organizing and coordinating the creation of high-quality tenders, capability statements, and expressions of interest, helping to secure the organization’s competitive advantage in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee Bid Action Plans ensuring all submission requirements are met.
- Maintain and update bid-related strategy documents and information databases.
- Draft and refine executive summaries as necessary.
- Conduct client research and provide background analysis to support bid leaders.
- Propose enhancements and improvements throughout the bidding process.
- Generate innovative opportunities to enhance client experience.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, is highly organized, and pays close attention to detail. You should be someone who collaborates effectively across various teams to meet submission goals.
- Experience in Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency with InDesign and solid skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Aptitude for juggling multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
- Meticulous attention to detail paired with an organized and methodical working style.
- Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience or exposure to the construction industry is desirable but not mandatory.
