Role Overview
The Bell-ringer role is a full-time, on-premises position based at the resort in Odisha, India. The primary duty involves ringing bells at scheduled times to aid operations, ceremonies, and events while ensuring timing accuracy and strict adherence to the schedule. The role requires collaboration with front office and events teams, prompt response to special bell-ringing requests, and upkeep of bell equipment in proper working condition. Additional responsibilities include following all safety and security protocols, assisting guests with basic queries related to events timing, and fostering a peaceful and hospitable environment around the resort grounds.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to adhere closely to detailed schedules and timing instructions with high attention to accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of hospitality practices, including courteous guest interactions and professional demeanor.
- Physical capability to safely reach bell stations and operate the bell mechanisms as needed.
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible in managing routine bell-ringing duties.
- Flexibility to work outside typical hours, covering early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn hotel safety guidelines and emergency protocols.
- Previous hospitality, event support, or service experience is beneficial though not mandatory.
- Communication proficiency in English and local languages is preferred.
