Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our expanding multidisciplinary team in Penrith or Blue Mountains. This role involves delivering evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support for children, adolescents, and adults with complex needs in various community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform behavioural assessments to understand client needs.
- Design and develop comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support techniques through clinical, home, school, and community visits.
- Collaborate effectively with families, carers, support coordinators, and allied health professionals.
- Support clients to enhance quality of life and community engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold current NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner registration at proficient level or higher.
- Demonstrated experience conducting assessments and formulating Behaviour Support Plans.
- Strong grasp of Positive Behaviour Support methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while actively participating in a multidisciplinary team.
- Possess a calm, patient, and solution-oriented attitude.
- Deep commitment to supporting individuals with disability and their families.
