Beauty Specialist - Full Time Evening Shift

Role Overview

Join a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store based in Calgary to provide exceptional health, beauty, and convenience services to your community, always prioritizing the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and customer awareness of beauty products and promotional campaigns.
• Adopt a positive and enthusiastic sales approach, making selling an enjoyable experience.
• Encourage customer enrollment and participation in the PC Optimum loyalty program.
• Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for both customers and team members.
• Consistently deliver outstanding customer service by using eClienteling and actively promote and schedule appointments for in-store events.
• Display and advocate for the company’s products and services, maintaining adherence to Cosmetics Operating Standards.
• Attend vendor training sessions and internal education workshops regularly.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and store policies diligently, including loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions and complete other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong independent judgment, decision-making skills, and consultative selling expertise in cosmetics.
• Proven record of success in sales, particularly in beauty products and services.
• Knowledgeable in various beauty product lines and capable of conducting in-depth makeup and skincare consultations with demonstration techniques.
• Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to climb ladders and reach to stock shelves by bending and stretching.
