Opportunity Overview
Join Boral at their Littlehampton Concrete Plant in Adelaide and contribute directly to building the foundations of homes, schools, roads, and communities. This role involves hands-on operations in batching and loading concrete, managing site activities, and operating plant and mobile equipment under the guidance of the Plant Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce quality concrete by accurately batching according to orders using dedicated systems.
- Operate a front-end loader safely to prepare raw materials for batching.
- Manage stock control, raw materials, and monthly forecasting processes.
- Participate actively in safety programs including pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and reporting of incidents.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy yard through regular maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Qualifications and Skills
- A keen interest in the concrete industry; prior experience is not necessary as comprehensive training is offered.
- Comfortable working with computer systems and managing multiple software platforms.
- Adaptable team player willing to contribute wherever needed.
