Bartender

About the Role

The Tullamore Court Hotel is actively seeking friendly and enthusiastic Bartenders to join their Food & Beverage staff. In this position, you will contribute significantly to creating a warm and inviting environment for guests by expertly preparing and serving a diverse selection of drinks. You will also provide knowledgeable recommendations and ensure exceptional, professional guest service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistently serve alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver attentive, efficient service throughout their visit.
• Take customer orders accurately and handle payments with the hotel’s point-of-sale system.
• Offer detailed drink and menu advice to guests to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels in the bar area.
• Assist with stock monitoring, replenishment, and rotation to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere fully to all licensing laws, responsible service procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage colleagues during busy times and events.
• Address guest requests professionally and help resolve any concerns promptly.
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture among team members.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in bar or hospitality roles is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• A confident, friendly demeanor combined with a genuine passion for guest service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Attention to detail and capacity to stay organized under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A positive mindset with eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and responsible alcohol service is a plus.
