Bartender

Overview

This role requires fluency in English and no formal degree or diploma is mandatory. While experience is beneficial, it is not compulsory. The position is strictly on-site, located in an urban restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and wash glassware.
• Serve food items or snacks.
• Offer recommendations on drink options to customers.
• Handle payments including cash, credit, and debit cards for beverages sold.
• Keep records and balance sales of beverages.
• Properly store beverage and food supplies.
• Resolve any concerns or complaints from patrons.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and territorial liquor regulations.
• Mix and prepare a variety of drinks including cocktails, wine, beer (draft or bottled), and non-alcoholic options.
• Take beverage orders from both serving staff and customers directly.
