Role Overview

The Capitol Bar at QT Canberra seeks a skilled bartender passionate about crafting exceptional cocktails and delivering service with flair. The ideal candidate enjoys a bustling, sophisticated atmosphere, possesses strong mixology expertise, comprehensive beverage knowledge, and excels in engaging a diverse guest base.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain personal appearance and ensure a clean, safe, and well-stocked workspace aligned with hotel standards.
• Provide outstanding food and beverage service complying with operational, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Exhibit thorough product knowledge and adhere strictly to preparation and serving standards.
• Accurately perform opening, closing, and cashiering tasks.
• Participate in mandatory training to enhance service quality and product understanding.
• Work collaboratively within the team and support other departments to maintain smooth functioning.

Experience and Skills Required

• Between 1 to 2 years of experience in bartending at a restaurant, hotel, or bar setting.
• Skilled in mixing classic and innovative cocktails with strong beverage knowledge.
• Enjoys engaging with guests and thrives in busy, dynamic environments.
• Good communication skills, teamwork capability, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexible to support various hotel outlets as required.
