About the Role

As a bartender at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, your duties extend beyond simply preparing drinks. You are a key contributor to creating a unique and memorable guest experience, staying abreast of the latest trends and local offerings while anticipating guest preferences. Your role encompasses managing not only the bar but also enhancing overall guest service by collaborating with hotel staff and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages with a focus on quality and presentation.
• Create an inviting atmosphere and ensure flawless functionality of the bar area.
• Engage with guests to build rapport and understand their evolving needs.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in handling cash transactions, providing accurate information, and upholding high drink standards.
• Participate actively in establishing a safe, professional work environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching as part of daily duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience, preferably in upscale or specialty bar/restaurant settings.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications mandated.
