Position Overview
This role involves more than simply serving drinks; it focuses on crafting a distinctive and memorable guest experience with exceptional food and beverage services. As a Guest Service Support Expert at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, you are key to supporting smooth operations across food and beverage departments by assisting with tasks such as setting tables, helping the kitchen staff, cleaning workspaces, and replenishing supplies, all contributing to making the service seamless and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities
The role requires maintaining a safe work environment, adhering strictly to company policies and quality standards, and upholding a professional appearance and communication style. Physical demands include extended periods on your feet, walking or standing on uneven or slippery surfaces, reading and verifying menu details, and performing physical tasks such as lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds individually, or up to 50 pounds with assistance. Additionally, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping are part of daily duties, with an emphasis on supporting the guest experience effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is the minimum educational requirement. While previous experience in food and beverage roles is advantageous, there is no requirement for prior related work experience or supervisory roles. No licenses or certifications are necessary.
