Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to prepare beverage orders precisely using established recipes and measurement systems, serve wine and champagne, and maintain the bar’s cleanliness and organization. This role requires excellent guest service, careful handling of bar supplies, and adherence to safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare guest drink orders accurately following recipe guidelines and measuring tools.
• Open and serve bottles of wine and champagne appropriately.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area, including bar units, tables, and tools.
• Create fresh garnishes for drink presentation.
• Stock necessary bar supplies such as ice, glassware, and paper products.
• Transport supplies to the bar setup locations efficiently.
• Clean used glassware promptly and remove soiled items from tables and bar tops.
• Communicate and anticipate the need for replenishing stock.
• Handle various payment methods and process transactions accurately.
• Reconcile cash bank at shift end, prepare cashier reports, address discrepancies, and secure receipts and cash properly.
• Secure the storage of all alcoholic beverages and related supplies.
• Perform closing duties to prepare the bar for the next business day.
• Comply with company and safety policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of company information.
• Engage guests warmly, anticipate their service needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers.
• Foster positive working relationships and support teamwork to achieve collective goals.
• Adhere to quality standards and expectations consistently.
• Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for entire shifts; able to move, lift, and transport items up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Perform various physical tasks including bending, twisting, stooping, and navigating confined or uneven spaces safely.
• Carry out additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.
