Role Overview

We are looking to expand our team in Leipzig and Munich immediately, offering opportunities either as a mini-job or freelance. Join us as a Barista Trainer (m/w/d) to empower coffee enthusiasts through teaching and hands-on coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct foundational and advanced barista training sessions covering espresso preparation, grinder use, milk frothing, latte art, and workflow optimization.
• Deliver comprehensive knowledge about coffee, including bean origin, roasting processes, and extraction techniques.
• Guide and support participants ranging from beginners to advanced learners, ensuring an enriching educational experience.
• Maintain a professional and motivating training environment.
• Properly handle and care for espresso machines and related equipment.
• Optionally support events, tastings, and internal training initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Several years of hands-on experience as a barista in cafés, roasteries, gastronomy, or similar settings.
• Expertise in operating and maintaining espresso machines and grinders.
• A genuine passion for coffee with a commitment to high-quality standards.
• Willingness to teach courses during weekends and late afternoons.
• Enjoys teaching, explaining concepts, and sharing knowledge.
• Confident and approachable demeanor paired with strong communication skills.
• Reliable, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Fluent in German; proficiency in English is advantageous.
