Barista Team Member

About the Role

Join SSP at Preston Station Upper Crust as a Barista and become part of an energetic hospitality environment. This position involves working part-time hours (16 hours per week) with shifts scheduled flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays during the operational hours of 5:45am to 10:00pm. The pay rate is £12.71 per hour.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages, tailoring drinks to specific customer requests.
• Share product knowledge enthusiastically with customers while maintaining high standards of customer service and friendliness.
• Keep the café area clean, welcoming, and well-presented at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Aim to work actively with people and contribute positively to the team atmosphere, enjoying a lively workplace.
• Be positive, kind, and energetic with a friendly approach toward colleagues and customers.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old due to role-specific responsibilities and shift requirements.
• Have a strong eagerness to learn new beverage crafting techniques and expand product expertise.
