Role Overview

The Barista is entrusted with crafting a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as cocktails, spirits, wines, coffee, tea, and specialty drinks strictly following hotel standards and recipes. The position requires delivering extraordinary guest service, maintaining a warm ambiance, and upholding hygiene and cleanliness throughout bar operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and offer personalized service at all times.
• Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, coffee, tea, wines, beers, and specialty drinks in accordance with hotel guidelines.
• Advise guests on beverage options to enhance their experience and encourage sales.
• Ensure top quality and presentation standards for all beverages served.
• Address guest inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with bar, restaurant, and kitchen teams to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Manage appropriate stock rotation, storage, and handling of beverage products and ingredients.
• Perform opening and closing tasks compliant with HACCP regulations, hygiene protocols, and hotel policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in similar hotel roles.
• Basic literacy skills including reading and writing.
• Prior exposure to food service and general bar and restaurant operations is advantageous.
• Must meet minimum legal age requirements for serving alcohol locally.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and safe beverage handling procedures.
