Overview

The Barista role involves representing the Frank and Honest brand by delivering excellent customer service and educating customers about the coffee range in an inviting and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming first impression by greeting customers warmly, aiming to ensure customer satisfaction remains the top priority.
• Follow all Frank and Honest company policies, procedures, and operational guidelines rigorously.
• Prepare beverages and blended cold drinks according to precise Frank and Honest procedures to maintain consistency and quality.
• Educate and assist customers to enhance their knowledge of the food and beverage offerings.
• Maintain consistent high standards of food and beverage quality at all times.
• Clean coffee-making equipment regularly throughout the day to meet company standards.
• Become well-versed in the full Frank and Honest food product range, actively promoting upsell opportunities.
• Express passion for coffee by sharing knowledge and personal recommendations with patrons.
• Address customer inquiries professionally and efficiently, aligned with store policies.
• Ensure the café is merchandised and presented to a high standard, following all relevant guidelines.
• Keep all working and café areas clean, organized, and truly inviting.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience in the hospitality sector such as cafés, restaurants, or hotels is advantageous.
• Prior barista experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
• Experience in customer service adds value.
• A passion for coffee and ability to inspire customers with this enthusiasm.
