Barista

Overview

At Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, we are committed to delivering more than just food and drink — we strive to create memorable and unique experiences for our guests. As a Barista within our Food and Beverage team, you'll play a key role in crafting these experiences by preparing and serving beverages while providing exceptional guest service. This position is non-management and requires standing, moving, and engaging actively with guests and team members.

Role Details

• Set and maintain table arrangements efficiently.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen staff to manage orders.
• Engage and assist guests to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Perform cleaning and upkeep of workspaces and equipment.
• Handle physical tasks such as moving objects up to 25 pounds unaided, and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Maintain consistent professionalism in appearance, uniform, and communication.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The role involves standing, walking, or occasionally sitting for extended periods. It demands mobility around uneven or slippery surfaces and physical movement including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. It's a hands-on position that ensures all tasks contributing to guest satisfaction and operational success are executed properly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) is required.
• Less than one year of relevant work experience is acceptable.
• Prior supervisory experience is not necessary.
• No specific licenses or certificates are required for this role.
