Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and courteously.
• Accurately enter orders using a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle customer payments and issue correct change.
• Prepare and serve hot, cold, and frozen drinks plus a variety of food items.
• Adhere strictly to recipes and portion controls to maintain quality and presentation standards.
• Conduct opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Execute assigned cleaning tasks with standard products to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Perform any other duties as directed by supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least one year of food service experience.
• Previous barista experience is preferred, especially in a Starbucks setting.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; French proficiency is an asset.
• Memory skills to recall and promote menu items.
• Proficiency in operating keyboards and POS procedures to process customer transactions.
• Capability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended durations.
• Successful completion of Transport Canada’s 5-year background check required.

This position is based in a secure airport environment requiring a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
